This program is being run to search for the LP21 mode from the SMF-28 fiber at a wavelength of 750nm. Ten different runs are executed with an estimated neff=1.46..1.47. The movie file plots the various modes as they are converging through each step of each run. From this we can see that neff=1.4606 is the correct LP21 mode. This is used in the next example to compute the full mode profile as a normal run (non-search).
