Monitors can be placed anywhere in the structure. These are two-dimensional areas in the x-y plane within which the integral of the |field|^2 is evaluated as a function of z. This is particularly useful under the loop mode for monitoring the power distribution. Multiple monitors can be specified. There are two types of output polygons.
Polygon Monitors
The syntax is:
op1 x1 y1 x2 y2 x3 y3 ....
where the digit after the o is required to distinguish different monitors. Normally each monitor will have a different digit, but multiple monitors with the same digit can also be specified which is essentially the same as adding the values from these monitors.
The syntax is:
oc1 rx ry cx cy
where rx and ry are the radii and cx and cy are the center positions.
